Camps

Chess Camps are a great way to learn chess while having tons of fun! During chess camps, we improve our skills through fun-games activities. We also learn about team spirit and team work, sportsmanship, fair play, dealing with and accepting defeats as well as celebrating victories with grace.

We learn about World Champions and other notable players and we expand our chess vocabulary with new words. Of course, we are never short of parties and celebrations too! Complete beginners, as well as children who already learned how to play, are welcome. The next chess camp will start on December 18 and it will end on December 29. Each of the two weeks, the campers can join from Monday to Friday. We charge on a weekly basis, regardless of the number of days that you will attend.

Dates:
Week 1: December 18-22, each day 9.30-12.00
Week 2: December 25-29, each day 9.30-12.00

No daily drop-in. Seats are limited.

FAQ:

Who can join the chess camp?
All kids age 5-14 are welcome to join.

My child doesn’t know anything about chess. Can we join?
No worries! Chess camp is an excellent place to learn how to play. We have a separate group for starters.

My child is 5 years old. Isn’t two and a half hours of chess too much?
Don’t worry. Kids love chess! Many of our best students started when they were 5 year olds.

Can I also sign up for the regular chess courses?
Yes of course. We have courses from beginners to advance competitive levels.
