Our U12 team played the long anticipated international chess match with our friends from Norway, the Sorashogda Chess Club. As always, we showed a great commitment to the team and passion. We are proud of our kids who are ready to show up any place and anytime, and they will always give their best efforts.
We played on two different time controls. First, we had a 15’+5″ Rapid time control match, followed by a 3’+2″ Blitz “Team Battle” match. Here are some highlights from the Blitz match:
Our line-up for this match was: Chin, Gavin, Ayaan, Proud, Newyear, Bheem, Lilih, Poom, Pordee, and Malcolm. We were limited to 10 players due to the match arrangements. We are looking forward to more of our players joining the team for the following matches.
