We are happy to organize our first Youth Open FIDE Rated Championship. It will take place at our chess club on July 9th this year and it will be open to all players, members and non-members, who are born 2007 or later. At this point we are accepting FIDE rated players only (classical or rapid ratings). Our quota for non-rated players is already full.
The time control will be 15 minutes per player, with an increment of 5 seconds for each move. We will have 6 rounds played under Swiss pairing system. The maximum capacity is 40 players. The prize fund is 15,000 THB. The winners will also win medals and trophies.
