We are happy to invite you to the Grand Opening of the Red Knight Chess Club & Cafe!
This is a project we wanted to do for a very long time. We wanted to create a place where chess players and enthusiasts meet to enjoy casual chess games over a cup of coffee. It will be open every day both for chess players who want to play some chess with friends, and for non-chess players who just want to relax and have a drink or food from our menu. It will be located on Sukhumvit Soi 26, on the ground floor of Bambini Villa.
We scheduled the Grand Opening for August 18th. On that day, we will organize 3 chess competitions. A Rapid and a Blitz Championship, open to players of all age, with a total of 35,000 baht prize fund, including 10,000 baht award for the Champion of the rapid tournament! Also, a Youth Championship for children born on or after 2012. We will award the best players with trophies and medals.
On the day of the Grand Opening, all guests can enjoy our special “buy one – get one free” promotion on our drinks menu. Please note that the Rapid and the Youth Championships will take place in the Bambini Villa open area. This is just in front of our Chess Cafe, which will be open all the time. Players can review their games and play casual chess in-between the rounds. The capacity for these two tournaments is around 100 players.
The Blitz Championship will be in the evening and it will be played inside the Chess Cafe. The capacity is 30 players.
There are two registration forms below. The first one is a Registration form for the Rapid and Blitz Championships. Scroll down for the registration form for the Youth Championship.
By registering for the tournaments, you give consent that your face may appear on a promotional photo or video materials that will be published on our website and/or social media pages. Where this applies to a minor, the parents give consent by submitting the registration form.
