TCIS Chess Championship 2024 – Report

Once again, the Thai-Chinese International School was a great host for a chess competition. The venue, equipped with a new, modern screen, and filled with young players eager to compete, was a wonderful site to see.

135 players divided in 6 categories came with different motives. From those with enough experience to fight for the trophies, to those who join their first big competition. With one thing in common: passion for the game of chess. We witnessed some very exciting battles and unexpected results. Some of the players confirmed their status of favorites. Others, managed to surprise much stronger opponents and to prove that they are catching up with the best.
